PIPE-FLO is the leading software package for calculation of piping system: sizing and pressure loss. PUMP-FLO contains a database of pump characteristics from all major pump suppliers enabling the user to easily select the correct pump for the actual pressure loss in system.

Databases for administrating maintenance jobs in a process plant can be very complex. PlantWare produces small maintenance systems based on an "easy to use" policy. Databases are produced both for

• Contractor companies for generating data to customer system
• Plant Operator for handling maintenance jobs

Plant Operator Databases: This database handles all components, maintenance jobs (spitted in different categories - instrumental, mechanical, electrical, main overhaul ect.), lubrications jobs and spare parts etc. We normally tailor our solution to customer needs. We make advanced relation databases for engineering of process plants in terms of handling components and documents such as 

• Electrical data
• Mechanical data
• Maintenance Data
• Shipment lists for custom declarations 
• IQ and OQ schedules.

Our work is based on TAG-numbering as defined in KKS. KKS numbering is in our opinion far the best numbering standard when it comes to process plants. Furthermore, we handle any derivation of ISA-numbering.

The database is connected to Visio® diagram at aggregate (top) level and through Visio® to PDMS®.

We also make consistency check directly between an external database and PDMS® and thereby secure consistent engineering through out the design phase.

The >> Room database << handles every aspect of engineers and architects tailoring of e.g. pharmaceutical production room, laboratories etc.:

• Overall data  (name, number, building references etc.)
• Metrology data (temp, pressure, humidity etc.)

PED - Process and Equipment documentation

Apart from the above mentioned general database application we make configuration software. With this combination we can control the items in the database by easy to use configuration menus. With this software sales personnel are able to configure a quotation and adjust this through the negotiation with the client. When a contract is signed, all necessary documentation can be printed out from PED without any further detailing.

Afterwards the engineering department will only need to make adjustments due to changes in scope, quality or purchased items from sub-suppliers. PlantWare has recently delivered a PED solution for Howden Variax A/S in order to configure and document large axial flow fans for the power plant industry.
