We design sound insulation for both rectangular and circular ducts like e.g. air and flue gas ducts on power and waste incinaration plants.

We have proven design from simple mineral wool based solution to advanced insulation built-up with reduction of structural transmitted sound & vibration.

Sound Silencers for e.g. safety valve blow off lines or start-up lines. The silencers can be delivered from size DN50 to DN1000. The silencer will tailor made to fit both sound power level from safety valve and maximum sound pressure level at predefined measure points.

The silencers will be tailored to meet contract demands for emmitted sound power or peak sound pressure load according to either dBA or dBC weightning.

PlantWare can also supply engineering of the blow off pipe in terms of:

• Sizing based on CONVAL.
• Control of maximum pressure loss based on CONVAL 
• Pipe flexibility investigations based on ROHR2 after EN or ASME standard.
• Sound propagation based on different software packages approved for the coundtry of installation.

We design both absorbtion and resonance sound attenuators. We uses both 1/4 wave length resonance attuators as well as Helmholz attenuators.

We do also apply resonance dampers to reduce flow induced sound/vibtration in boilers - e.g. economizers.
